A physician referral and or prescription may be required.
Home Oxygen Therapy service include:
Emergency service 24 hours per day, 7 days per week
Respiratory assessments, equipment delivery, and service initiation
Free consultation and assessment regarding oxygen funding through the Home Oxygen Program (HOP), private insurance, or a third party
Monthly scheduled in-home visits by a Regulated Health Professional (RRT/RPN) to assess client progress and respiratory needs
Weekly scheduled visits by a Regulated Health Professional (RRT/RPN) to assess resident progress and respiratory needs in Long Term Care Facilities as well as Retirement Residences
Scheduled deliveries of portable cylinders and supplies based on client needs
Monthly reports to prescribing physician(s) or more frequent when required
Weekly charting and documentation in Long Term Care Facilities and Retirement Residences
Risk and safety assessments
On-going equipment maintenance during routine scheduled visit with a strictly followed service schedule
Back-up and emergency oxygen equipment and supplies
Provision of oxygen portability prior to hospital discharge
Assistance with travel arrangements for oxygen users
Free in-services to contracted facilities including CPR training
On-going client and caregiver education on various issues including equipment use, safety, and infection prevention and control
Knowledgeable and friendly staff who are dedicated to providing safe and quality care
