Flu Season

flu

With health & safety protocols in place such as hand washing and the use of masks, the flu was hard to find anywhere last flu season. Things might be a bit different this year with expectations of the flu coming back due to the easing of some public health restrictions. Help prevent the spread of the flu by getting your flu vaccine, which are now available at local pharmacies and doctor's offices. Steps to Help Prevent Spread of COVID or Flu

  1. Get your flu shot and COVID vaccine.
  2. Wash your hand often.
  3. Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze (cough or sneeze in your sleeve). If doing so with a tissue, dispose of tissue and wash your hands.
  4. Do not touch your face unless required and your hands are clean.
  5. Sat at home when you are sick.
  6. Wear a mask according to your public health guidelines. Unlike early 2020 where everyone was chasing after masks, they are no much easier to find.
